Professor James Brighton

Remembering our dear friend, Mark. Words cannot express how shocked and saddened we are at the loss of such a wonderful man. Always ready and willing to help out in any way. You were the only person who could ever attempt to move a shed across our lawn, balanced on 2 skate boards, to the opposite side of the garden. Happy memories. Our thoughts are with Karen and Hannah and we will always be there to support them both. Rest in Peace.

Mrs Sheila Ambrosini

So many lovely words written about such a lovely man. Whilst I didn’t know Mark as well as others, one of my lasting memories of him was having a nice long conversation with him through the ring doorbell whilst he was out at work and Karen was at home totally unaware I was stood on their doorstep. Mark, I promise I will always be there for Karen, to be the friend she needs now and going forward. Rest in peace.

Mrs Nicki Mayne

Jarvy, a wonderful hockey player and umpire taken far too soon. RIP my friend and condolences to your family and many friends. Andy Lowe- Army and Combined Service hockey friend.

Mr Andy Lowe

The two games I umpired with Jarvy both had a huge influence on me. The first, when I was new to national league, and the second, when I was new to the premier league. Both times, his support and encouragement helped me to relax and feel like I belonged. Most recently, he supported me to gain a coaching appointment s9 that I could achieve my L2 badge. Personally, I enjoyed time with him in the pub after games and at events. He will be sorely missed and I am incredibly sorry for your loss, Karen and Hannah - I hope you find some solace in the tributes that have been made in his memory.

Mr Amar Chudasama

Such a wonderful person, a role model that i looked up to when I first met him at RAF Benson many moons ago. Shared a passion for fishing and always made time for anybody. Will be sadly missed. Thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. RIP Jarvy
